-17 is seeking a Distribution Utility Technician for its Austin location. In this role, you will operate and maintain the District's potable water distribution system while leading technician teams. This position requires hands-on technical skills and involves extensive interaction with the public and government agencies.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, TCEQ certification, and a valid state driver’s license. Responsibilities include supervising water tap installations, performing maintenance, and ensuring water quality. Emergency on-call duties are required.
