Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support daily field operations across Austin and surrounding areas. This individual will play a critical role in handling residential service calls, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience in occupied homes and construction sites.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing both the technician and the company to ensure a strong long-term fit.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across residential and some commercial properties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, including advanced digital and high-efficiency systems
- Complete service calls for both homeowners and builder clients, including warranty and repair work
- Support new construction projects by completing work orders across various stages of the build process
- Interpret blueprints and utilize HVAC-related software for job execution
- Document all work performed, including service details, photos, and updates using company systems (e.g., Builder Trend)
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and local HVAC codes
- Communicate effectively with customers, builders, and internal team members to provide updates and ensure satisfaction
- Participate in an on-call rotation for occasional evening and weekend emergency service needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Pay: $30-$32/hr

Skills and Requirements- EPA Certification
- Minimum 3+ years of HVAC technician experience
- 3 years of experience working with Mitsubishi HVAC systems
- Working knowledge of GE HVAC equipment
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environments
- Ability to read blueprints and work within construction timelines
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work inside occupied homes professionally
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift equipment as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
