HVAC Lead Install Technician

Schedule: Monday-Friday+ rotating weekends
Pay: Commission-based pay $80,000-$130,000

$1,500 minimum guaranteed weekly (90 Days) no matter the call volume!

What You'll Do

As a Lead HVAC Install Technician, you will work as part of a dynamic team filling a role that suits you best, whether consulting with customers, repairing, installing, or all of the above. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing an extraordinary customer experience.

The ideal candidate has the technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and diagnose all equipment, and is an effective problem solver and communicator. Ready to join our growing HVAC team? The position will be based in the field, with your very own company-provided take-home truck.

  • Deliver a five-star customer experience by professionally installing residential heating, air conditioning, indoor air quality, and refrigeration systems
  • Educate homeowners on system operation, maintenance requirements, and best practices to maximize comfort, efficiency, and equipment life
  • Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, thermostats, electrical components, and refrigerant lines according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
  • Test, troubleshoot, and verify system performance to ensure safe and proper operation
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Dispatch, Parts, Installation teams, and leadership to ensure a seamless installation experience
  • Accurately document completed work, materials used, and project details using company software and mobile technology
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle and work area
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and customer service training to grow your skills and advance your career
  • Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset at every job
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; HVAC trade school education or industry certifications are a plus
  • Universal EPA Certification required; NATE Certification a plus
  • Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, equipment, electrical components, and installation best practices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to educate homeowners and build trust
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other residential environments
  • Experience using Service Titan or similar field service software
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform the physical demands of the role
