Lead Maintenance Technician (Apartment Community)

Integra Staffing is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician (Apartment Community). This role will be responsible for leading day-to-day maintenance activities, including work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns/make-readies, while supporting the Property Manager and helping guide other technicians. The Lead Maintenance Technician ensures repairs are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule to support resident satisfaction and occupancy goals.

Pay: $27–$28/hr. (Once hired, pay is negotiated + benefits offered)

Schedule:

Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (On-call required once hired FT)

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform maintenance work across the community: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, painting
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs for work orders/service requests in a timely manner
• Execute and track preventative maintenance (PMs) to reduce downtime and emergencies
• Oversee and support unit turns / make-ready (punch, paint, patch, flooring touch-ups, appliance checks)
• Assist with prioritizing daily workload and coordinating with property management on turn deadlines
• Support and mentor assistant maintenance technicians/make-ready staff as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow property safety procedures
• Help monitor inventory of parts/supplies and communicate needs to management
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required

Required Qualifications (Must Have):

• 2+ years apartment maintenance experience (lead experience preferred)
• EPA Universal (EPA 608) certification (required)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC plus working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Experience with unit turns/make-ready, work order systems, and preventative maintenance schedules
• Must have own basic hand tools (and gauges if required by the property)
• Must have two forms of  employment eligibility

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Additional certifications (CPO, HVAC advanced, electrical, etc.)
• Vendor coordination experience (scheduling, follow-up, quality checks)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
