Restoration Technician

As a Restoration Technician, you will be on the front lines of water damage mitigation and mold remediation — performing the skilled, hands-on work that gets homes and businesses back to normal. You will work under the direction of a Crew Chief or Project Manager in a supportive, team-centered environment. No restoration experience required — we train and certify you from day one.

Water Damage Mitigation
  • Extract water using pumps, wet vacs, and truck-mounted extraction equipment
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment: air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
  • Take moisture readings and document drying progress with a smartphone or tablet
  • Perform light demolition — removing wet carpet, pad, baseboards, drywall, and trim
  • Establish containment using plastic sheeting and zipper doors
Mold Remediation
  • Set up negative air pressure containment zones per IICRC S520 and EPA protocols
  • Remove and bag mold-affected materials safely
  • Apply antimicrobial treatments and encapsulants
  • HEPA-vacuum and wipe down surfaces; operate air filtration devices (AFDs)
  • Maintain containment integrity and document remediation progress
General Field Duties
  • Safe operation of hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, pry bars, etc.)
  • Detailed cleaning: scrubbing, wiping, sanitizing, and deodorizing affected areas
  • Handle customer belongings with care and empathy
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and the office team
  • Use smartphone apps for job documentation, photos, and tracking
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times
  • Practice proper PPE use, chemical safety, and lifting techniques
