Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing is hiring a Licensed Plumbing Service Apprentice in Austin. This is a ground-floor opportunity to learn residential plumbing from experienced professionals, earn while you train, and build toward a skilled trade career with a company that promotes from within. 30% of our plumbing team was promoted internally — this is how that starts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Ride with experienced plumbing technicians on residential service calls and FPI maintenance visits
- Assist with repairs, installations, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems
- Support lead technicians in running FPI Maintenance visits from start to finish
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized on every call
- Stock and maintain the company vehicle with the right tools, equipment, and consumables
- Inspect tools and equipment for safety deficiencies; ensure PPE is available and checked
- Deliver a professional customer experience and represent the Goettl brand with integrity
- Actively participate in Goettl training programs to build skills and progress toward promotion
WHAT YOU NEED
- Plumbing Apprentice License required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 2 years
- Ability to maintain 99% attendance, show up on time, and follow direction
- Effective communication and professional customer interaction skills
- Must pass a background check and drug screen upon offer
