Commercial Unitary Maintenance Technician

We are searching for a Commercial Unitary Maintenance Technician who will service, diagnose, repair and maintain various medium and large tonnage Commercial HVAC systems and their associated equipment. Also, perform accurate and timely diagnostics of mechanical, electronic and refrigeration system components.

• Walks, stands and climbs ladders
• Works indoors and outdoors
• Operates various testing instruments
• Reads schematic and wiring diagrams
• Wires, vacuums, troubleshoots, commissions and reads plans
• Properly performs soldering & brazing of piping and components
• Properly handles and transfers refrigerants, per EPA requirement

• Experience with:
  • Air cooled and/or water-cooled systems up to 250 tons and/or
  • Water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers and/or
  • Data center environmental equipment and/or
  • Understanding of basic HVAC controls and VFD's and/or
  • Air handling equipment including VAV systems typically found in larger commercial systems and/or
  • Performing preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling & heating systems and/or
  • Pump and motor alignments
• High School Diploma or GED
• TDLR License
• Valid TX Driver's License
• Good driving record
• EPA certificate and OSHA 10 or ability to complete it within 60 days
• 5+ Years of related experience
• Able to regularly lift 75 pounds
• Knowledge of Unitary equipment, RTU's, VAV's and VRF
• Great customer service skills, team player and neat appearance
• Demonstrated dependable work history
