About the Role
Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver outstanding service and elevated efficiency within the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.
Your Impact- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance to meet customer demands.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
- Support performance that helps achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets.
This is a customer‑facing role that requires compliance with customer policies, which may include COVID‑19 vaccination and other measures.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent experience (required).
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for travel.
- Must obtain all necessary security and/or other clearances to enter customer premises.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Hourly salary range: $19.00‑$26.31. Eligible for a transportation allowance.
WorkstyleFull‑Time On Site – requires presence at assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled work days.
