Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
The successful candidate will work with a variety of commercial equipment while delivering exceptional service to customers throughout the Austin market.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, package units, and VRF systems
- Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as needed
- Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Certification required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- NATE Certification
- VRF, chiller, or boiler experience
