Make Ready Technician / Apartment Maintenance – Floating Austin Region.

Are you a hands‑on Maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work? Join AMLI Residential and help prepare apartment homes for move-in readiness, delivering a great experience for new residents. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in apartment maintenance, unit turns, or general handyman skills. The position is based at AMLI Covered Bridge and will also support AMLI Lakeline and other nearby Austin communities.

• Complete make ready / unit turnover tasks for vacant apartments.
• Perform drywall repair and interior painting.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and fixture replacement.
• Plumbing repairs (faucets, sinks, drains, toilets).
• Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Carpentry and finish work.
• Repair or replace doors, windows, blinds, ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, and hardware.
• Prepare apartments for new resident move-in (move-in ready standards).
• Change locks, complete punch lists, and support preventive maintenance.
• Assist with groundskeeping, property maintenance, and curb appeal.

• Skills in painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical.
• HVAC certification (EPA) is a plus.
• Ability to complete work orders and unit turns efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license / reliable transportation (required for on-call rotation).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
