Service Wizard, a family-owned HVAC company in Austin, seeks a Maintenance Technician to service residential and light commercial systems. You'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, and indoor air quality equipment. Role includes troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, completing system tune-ups, and documenting work clearly. You'll interact directly with customers, explaining findings and options while representing our values of integrity and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including diagnostics, repairs, and component replacement
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and system tune-ups to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues using appropriate tools, meters, and technical documentation
- Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions in service tickets with clear, accurate notes
- Communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers in a professional, customer-focused manner
- Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards while working on and around HVAC and construction-related equipment
- Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory in clean, organized, and working condition
- Collaborate with dispatchers, installers, and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule
