HVAC Service Technician

ABC Supply is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support contractor customers with reliable equipment service. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with replacements and startups. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems for contractor customers
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
• Install and start up replacement HVAC units and related components
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues with refrigeration, electrical, and airflow systems
• Ensure all work meets safety, code, and manufacturer standards
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets
• Communicate findings and solutions clearly to branch staff and contractor customers
• Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory in clean, safe condition
• Support warehouse/operations teams as needed to meet customer deadlines

• Reading wiring diagrams and schematics
• Brazing and soldering
• Refrigerant charging and recovery (EPA-compliant)
