ABC Supply is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support contractor customers with reliable equipment service. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with replacements and startups. You'll work safely, provide excellent customer service, and document all work. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems for contractor customers
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Install and start up replacement HVAC units and related components
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues with refrigeration, electrical, and airflow systems
  • Ensure all work meets safety, code, and manufacturer standards
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets
  • Communicate findings and solutions clearly to branch staff and contractor customers
  • Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory in clean, safe condition
  • Support warehouse/operations teams as needed to meet customer deadlines

Required Skills

  • HVAC system diagnostics

  • Electrical troubleshooting (low and line voltage)
  • Reading wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Brazing and soldering
  • Refrigerant charging and recovery (EPA-compliant)

  • Use of HVAC diagnostic tools and meters
  • Basic controls and thermostats setup
  • Service documentation and work order software
