Field Welder Technician 3 (Line Bore)
The Field Welder Technician 3 (Line bore) works independently to perform all aspects of welding repairs, fabrication, torch work, and line boring on heavy construction equipment and components utilizing Holt, Caterpillar and AWS Welding Procedures, Standards and Codes in both a shop and field environment. This position will quote jobs, break down prints and procedures to build a material list, order material and provide training to other team members.
In addition to removal, installation, and the repair of heavy equipment components, including undercarriage.
The incumbent in this position shall model the following practices daily:
- Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values;
- Collaborate with key internal/external resources;
- Participate in ongoing self-development.
