Apprentice Plumber

• Assist licensed plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work

• Install and repair water supply lines, drain lines, faucets, toilets, fixtures, and other plumbing components

• Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing problems to determine appropriate repairs

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials

• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment

• Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and job materials

• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe

• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable plumbing codes

• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members

• Continue building your plumbing knowledge through hands-on training and field experience

• Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience

• Current Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration preferred, or willingness to obtain it

• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

• Ability to perform physically demanding plumbing work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to reliably commute to job sites throughout the Austin area
