Get hands-on with industry tools:
Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM software, and more.
Contribute both in the shop and out in the field—variety, challenge, and impact.
What You’ll Work OnRepairs: brakes, hydraulic hoses, clutches, AC systems, alternators, water pumps.
Preventive maintenance: PM1–PM5 services and inspections with meticulous work order documentation.
Diagnostics: leverage Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM programs, and multimeters to pinpoint faults.
Equipment: loaders, skid steers, excavators, manlifts, and fleet trucks.
Hydraulics: troubleshoot pumps, cylinders, and flow components.
Electrical: install GPS units, lighting, and related components to specification.
Operations: safely run forklifts, cranes, and equipment during maintenance tasks.
Safety: follow Lockout/Tagout, hot work, confined space, and OSHA protocols.
Organization: keep shop tools, spares, and equipment mission-ready.
Field service: respond quickly and coordinate with Foremen, Dispatch, and Operators.
Systems: record parts usage, labor time, and repair notes in Equipment
360 or designated systems.
Vendors: manage part orders, returns, and warranty coordination.
Flexibility: support other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
What You Bring3–7 years in heavy equipment/fleet repair or equivalent technical training.
Depth in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
Skill with OEM software, Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, and multimeters.
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
Safety-first mindset; adherence to procedures.
Independent self-starter and strong team collaborator.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands Work in shop and outdoors all year—heat, cold, rain, and harsh weather. Stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight or awkward spaces for extended periods. Regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Tolerate dust, noise, vibration, and exposure to fuels, lubricants, and other shop chemicals.
