Gas & Chemical Technician

We are currently looking for a skilled technician with a mechanical background to assist with our on-site slurry, gas, and chemical management processes. Your daily contributions will center on maintaining equipment, managing container replacements, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring high-quality standards within our production facility.

• Manage the replacement and handling of slurry, gas, and chemical containers.
• Oversee the functionality of gas and chemical distribution systems.
• Conduct equipment repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure operational uptime.
• Utilize digital platforms to manage operational tasks and fulfill client needs.
• Contribute to quality assurance by strictly adhering to standardized protocols.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all chemical handling and PPE guidelines.
• Participate in all mandatory safety and hazardous communication training sessions.
• Maintain flexibility in your schedule to accommodate overtime and varying shift requirements.

• Cover distances of 5 to 6 miles on foot during a typical shift.
• Lift objects weighing as much as 40 lbs.
• Perform physical movements including kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead.
• Scale tanker trucks periodically while utilizing necessary fall protection gear.
• Utilize required personal protective equipment, such as respirators, when necessary.
• Pass all standard fit-for-duty assessments.

• Possess a High School Diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Hold a current and valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and speaking the English language.
• Show a high level of mechanical capability.
