QLM IS seeking skilled experienced Orbital Welders to join our team for an upcoming project. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating Orbitalum or Axair orbital welding equipment and be comfortable working in an industrial jobsite environment. This position will involve working at heights, so candidates must be comfortable performing welding work in elevated work areas and following all required site safety procedures.

Pays 40.00 per hr. and also 120.00 per diem
Position Description – Experienced Orbital Welder

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Orbital Welders to support an industrial project requiring precision orbital welding in a demanding jobsite environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Orbitalum or Axair orbital welding equipment, a strong understanding of orbital welding processes, and the ability to work safely and efficiently while working at heights.

This position is suited for welders who take pride in producing consistent, high-quality welds and are comfortable working with specialized orbital welding equipment. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to follow project specifications, welding procedures, and jobsite requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Orbitalum and/or Axair orbital welding machines to perform high-quality, precision welds.
• Set up, operate, and monitor orbital welding equipment according to project requirements.
• Inspect equipment and welding setups prior to beginning work.
• Perform orbital welds consistently while maintaining required quality standards.
• Make appropriate adjustments to equipment and settings as needed.
• Follow approved welding procedures, project specifications, and quality-control requirements.
• Work safely at elevated heights and in various jobsite conditions.
• Follow all site safety policies, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, welders, and other members of the project team.
• Identify equipment or welding issues and communicate them promptly to supervision.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet project production and quality expectations.
