The Tailor/Fitter provides excellent customer service through skilled garment fitting and alterations. This role works with customers and store teams to meet alteration needs and department goals.
Responsibilities- Measure customers, fit garments, and mark areas requiring alterations.
- Complete fittings and sewing alterations on time and according to service standards.
- Meet productivity goals, manage customer alteration needs using store technology, and collaborate with the Alterations and Store teams.
- Educate customers and employees on fit, style, construction, and trends.
- Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience; 2-3 years preferred.
- Clear, professional communication and the ability to stay organized and prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing, pressing, and alterations equipment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
