Role Overview

The Reemployment Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) performs highly complex consultative services and technical assistance work. The position covers the Southeast region and works under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Who You Are

You are a collaborative professional who partners with the TWC workforce team and service providers to uplift Texans. You are a senior technical analyst with strong research, communication, and organizational skills and aspire to become a reemployment services subject‑matter expert.

You Will Be Trusted To
  • Serve as the local RESEA resource to board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training.
  • Become a subject‑matter expert on the local labor market, local community support services, and the RESEA program.
  • Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers utilizing professional etiquette and demeanor.
  • Validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements.
  • Conduct research, program assessment, preliminary investigations and prepare reports.
  • Support and present at RESEA conferences and conduct classroom training and webinars.
  • Assist in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Two years of full‑time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
Good Fit With
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
  • Knowledge of RESEA or other workforce program services, procedures, and policies.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience writing site observation and operations reports.
  • Great listening skills, and professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Travel

Duty involves up to 30% travel within Texas.
