Salary Range: $5,403.01 - $6,779.25 per month

Travel: Up to 5%

• Process and analyze background check results and operation compliance (30%)
• Process risk evaluations required for specific background check results, including collection, organization and comparison of packet contents (20%)
• Maintain workload of background check assignments, ensuring timely completion and resolving exceptions (20%)
• Assist internal and external stakeholders, providing technical assistance and guidance during the background check process (15%)
• Review and ensure accurate interpretation of background check citations and provide guidance to monitoring programs (10%)
• Participate in meetings, training, and perform additional duties such as peer training, performance monitoring, and technology project support (5%)

• Experience with the Child Care Regulation program and background check requirements and processes (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Related work experience may substitute for education up to four years.

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and rules related to childcare regulation and background checks.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, both internally and externally.

• Skill in assessing risk as it pertains to children in various settings.
