Foster Adopt In Austin; FAIA Case Manager - Rathgeber Campus

SAFE Alliance seeks one (1) FAIA Case Manager for the Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention Services program in the Foster & Adopt in Austin department. The FAIA Case Manager conducts visits with each assigned child in assigned foster home for face-to-face meetings and consultations as needed; at least once per month; documenting visits as per documentation policy. They coordinate treatment planning sessions, provide notifications, manage the meeting, and document the progress and goals discussed as per documentation policies.

We are looking for one person to work on a full-time, exempt basis for an annual salary of $50,000 to $52,000 dependent upon experience. The work location will be based at our Rathgeber Village Campus in the Mueller area. This position will include some travel in the community or between campuses and will allow for some remote/hybrid work. This position currently requires you to participate in a 24 hour On-Call rotation.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
• One year of experience working in a treatment setting with a similar population of children is strongly preferred.
• Two years of child-placing experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge, training and experience using Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) preferred.
• Knowledge of basic case management services.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organization skills, ability to self-motivate, and ability to function as team member.
• Presence and maturity to influence and represent the organization positively in the greater Austin community.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and learn the client database as significant computer work is required.
• With reasonable accommodation, this position requires the manual dexterity to sufficiently operate phones, computers, and other office equipment.
• Visual acuity capable of drafting, editing, reviewing, and/or comprehending materials in a standard typeface size 10 font or above, are required.
• Be capable of sitting and standing for extended periods of time, as well as be able to intermittently push, pull, or lift 20+lbs. of force.
• Regular travel between organization locations as this position requires driving. You must have a valid, State of Texas Driver's License (If in possession of an out-of-state license, obtain a State of Texas Driver's License within 90 days of beginning employment.) AND at least three (3) consecutive years of driving experience OR one (1) year of driving experience if over 27 years of age AND an acceptable driving record that covers at least the last three years of driver history.
