Product Engineer, Americas

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile, persistent Product Engineer who will own end‑to‑end product development for Ashby’s core Talent Acquisition platform. The role requires building reusable infrastructure, designing user interfaces, and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

• Research competitors, write product specifications, create wireframes, and develop features end‑to‑end.
• Design and build automated interview scheduling, declarative filter architecture, and in‑app offer signing features.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality, high‑impact functionality.
• Write clean, well‑tested Type Script/React/Node code and maintain a common set of reusable components.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement of developer tooling.

• Strong full‑stack engineering background with experience in Type Script, React, Graph
  
  QL, and Node.
• Proven ability to build complex features in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience writing product specs, wireframes, and design docs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort with rapid iteration, ambiguity, and minimal process.
• Experience in high‑growth startups or enterprise products is a plus.
