Firmware Test Development Engineer – Hybrid
Description:
We are seeking a collaborative and motivated System Firmware Test Development Engineer to join our firmware QA team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with firmware architects and domain-specific validation teams to understand new firmware and system level features, define end-to-end test strategies, and develop comprehensive regression test cases. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality firmware delivery through systematic, automated, and scalable validation frameworks.
The focus will be on AMD Server Class EPYC CPUs and Instinct GPUs. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who bring curiosity, technical depth, and a commitment to innovation.
Mandatory skills include post silicon firmware, system test environments, silicon platform firmware issues, domain validation, SoC, System on a Chip, C, C++, Python, Perl, Debugging, Computer Architecture, Enterprise class server platform, systems engineering, system development, firmware development, virtualization, firmware enablement, Bios, ACPI, SMBios tables, RAS, Reliability, Availability, Serviceability, Memory subsystem validation, DDR, persistent memory, error injection, cutting edge firmware, Power management, telemetry, I/O validation, PCIe, CXL, System BIOS, UEFI boot process, TPM, SPDM, Secure boot, ROT attestation, ACPI, SR-IOV, MCTP, PLDM, RDE.
