Software Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an AEM Developer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. This role involves developing and enhancing enterprise web applications using Adobe Experience Manager.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AEM Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.4+ applications, including components, templates, workflows, and Sling models.
- Build and customize Sling servlets, RESTful services, and integrations using JSON, XML, and web services to support dynamic content delivery.
- Extend core AEM functionalities such as Launches, workflows, and Lucene indexing while ensuring optimal application performance and caching strategies.
- Implement UI customization using Coral/Granite UI and Sightly (HTL) for scalable and maintainable front-end development.
- Ensure application security, access controls, and performance tuning, including dispatcher configuration and SSL-based integrations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (QA, UX, Dev Ops) and leverage CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, and automated testing frameworks to deliver high‑quality releases on time.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience working on enterprise‑scale Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects.
- Strong expertise in AEM 6.4 or newer, including workflows, Sling models, HTL (Sightly), core components, and extending AEM functionalities.
- Proven experience with Java, REST APIs, Adobe UI customization (Coral/Granite), and AEM performance tuning, security, and dispatcher configuration.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
