Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AEM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 and a proven track record of implementing full-cycle AEM projects. This role requires expertise in web content management, Java Content Repository, Sling web framework, and other related technologies. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead and implement full-cycle AEM projects with hands‑on expertise.
- Develop and maintain AEM building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and bundles.
- Utilize Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework, and Apache Felix OSGi framework (R6/R7).
- Work with AEM features such as DAM, workflows, Sighlty, Sling Models, touch UI libraries, and Adobe core components.
- Leverage experience with Headless CMS and AEM Content Fragments.
- Implement Continuous Integration and Automated test execution using tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven.
- Integrate AEM with other systems and ensure seamless functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality project deliverables on time.
- Work closely with QA, UX, and other teams to ensure project success.
- Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- At least 6 years of experience in web content management with Adobe AEM 6.5.
- Proven experience in implementing 2 full-cycle AEM projects.
- Strong knowledge of AEM building blocks, Java Content Repository, Sling web framework, and Apache Felix OSGi framework.
- Experience with Sighlty, Sling Models, touch UI libraries, and Adobe core components.
- Familiarity with Headless CMS and AEM Content Fragments.
- Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Automated testing tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven.
- Experience in developing highly available, heavy‑traffic customer‑facing websites is a plus.
- Prior experience with other CMS platforms is a bonus.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with QA, UX, and other teams.
- Prior experience with deployments and migrations is desirable.
