About The Job

We are seeking a Senior Engineer for On Page Search for eCommerce sites to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs. We use Huggie Gace, Moss, Content Tools, Hawk search, Kubernetes, Open Search and many other tools.

We need a Senior Engineer to work with our Architect and a Midlevel to develop for ourselves and some great customers. We are stretching our team in size and opportunity to get deep.

• AI-Powered Search:
  Tools that use machine learning to understand search intent beyond exact keywords, providing personalized results (e.g., Moss).
• Fuzzy Matching & Auto-suggest:
  Technologies that handle typos and predict user queries to guide them to products quickly (e.g., Victoria Beckham).
• Semantic Search:
  Understanding the context of search queries

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
• Leading the technical practice as a coach and watching the practice as the senior dev. Our architect is pulled in multiple projects.
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
• Document all programming tasks and procedures

• 7+ years of experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of Java, Python, PHP, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, and SQL Server
• Deadline and detail-oriented. This is a services industry job, time tracking is required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
