- Deploy ML-powered features into production, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and maintain APIs and backend services for data processing and model inference
- Collaborate on system architecture and technical decision-making
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Monitor, debug, and improve applications and ML pipelines in production
- Stay current with advances in ML, LLMs, and full-stack development best practices
- 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role
- Solid backend experience with technologies such as Python, or similar
- Hands-on experience with machine learning concepts and workflows
- Practical experience working with large language models (training, fine-tuning, prompting, or integration via APIs)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with databases SQL and No
SQL/document stores - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker preferred)
- You will play a pivotal role in the growth of an innovative, cutting-edge technology company changing how policy work gets done.
- As an early employee, you will have high ownership and impact on both customer outcomes and core product direction.
- Opportunity to shape a critical, customer-facing engineering function from the ground up.
- Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
- Platinum, employer-subsidized health, dental, and vision benefits.
- Unlimited Paid Time Off.
- Hybrid work environment and flexible schedule, with three days per week in our vibrant East Austin office.
