The PIMCO CI/CD Platform team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong development background in Git Hub Ecosystem.

The qualified candidate should have strong experience in one of the following programming languages (Python, Node, Java, .NET, or Golang).

You should be passionate about improving software delivery processes, enhancing developer efficiency, and ensuring smooth and rapid deployment of applications.

This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and modernization of our CI/CD build platforms from on‑premises to cloud or SaaS.

• Execute and support migration from Git Lab to Git Hub, ensuring minimal disruption and a seamless transition.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions to automate software delivery and ensure high‑quality releases.
• Work closely with development teams to deliver a smooth migration experience and address integration challenges.
• Monitor and respond to user queries in team channels, offering timely assistance and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to streamline processes and reduce time‑to‑market.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4‑6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in building and deploying applications.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub, Git Lab CI).
• Strong understanding and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, or Go.
