We are seeking a self-starter, highly motivated individual who thrives on challenges and creative solutions. This role impacts Apple’s business, requiring interaction with internal teams to deliver cutting-edge products in a dynamic environment.

• Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable data science/optimization algorithms for Supply Chain Optimization applications. These algorithms handle large volumes of data and/or large solution spaces.
• Develop high-performance, scalable, and memory-efficient software.
• Doggedly search for performance improvement in C++ code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern C++ best practices.
• Debug and resolve complex issues related to performance, concurrency, and memory.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Build and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and benchmarks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development tools, processes, and standards.
• Manage the deployment of C++ modules on the Cloud with CI/CD pipelines.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4+ years of professional C++ software development experience
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20 preferred), including performance optimization and profiling
• Experience working with large-scale, long-lived C++ codebases and build systems such as CMake and Make
• Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, and processing for efficient handling of large datasets and complex transformations

• Exposure to networking, distributed systems, or real-time systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience integrating C++ with Python or other languages.
• Experience with writing C++ code for Optimization Solvers like Gurobi, Cplex, FICO Xpress, and other open source solvers.
