Salesforce Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Salesforce) for a hybrid contract in Austin, TX
.

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas and prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Participates in Agile (Scrum) team activities and contributes to deliverables according to the definition of done. Performs hands‑on Salesforce development including Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations.

Documents solutions, conducts analysis, resolves defects, supports peer reviews, performs testing, and provides troubleshooting across multiple environments. Assists with solution delivery, supports unit operations, and may participate in on‑call support as needed. Position requires 3 days remote and 2 days onsite (Thursday & Friday) in Austin, TX. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Austin (subject to change per hiring team).

• 8 years of experience in Salesforce development including Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), and implementing declarative solutions such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules
• 8 years of experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), coding standards, change control, and version management, including assessing Salesforce architecture and delivering secure, high‑performance solutions on the platform
• 8 years of experience in end-to-end Salesforce implementations including classic‑to‑lightning upgrades, data migrations, systems integrations, third‑party applications, and custom development
• 8 years of experience integrating Salesforce with cloud‑based and on‑premises applications using standard and custom
  REST APIs

• 4 years of previous experience in Dev Ops technologies including CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Flosum and Git
• 2 years of previous experience in creating custom Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce
• 2 years of knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies
