Software Engineer 3 – Salesforce

Austin, TX – 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Thursday & Friday) required.

Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigate problem areas and prepare/install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Participate in completing deliverables according to the definition of done for an Agile (Scrum) team. Require hands‑on experience programming applications in Salesforce, and experience with Agile methodologies.

Perform daily operations including documentation, analysis, problem resolution, design, development, communication with team members, participation in solution delivery, and other unit operations. Support applications in multiple environments with coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root‑cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Be available for on‑call support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions including Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components; knowledge of no‑code configurations such as Flows, process builders, and workflow rules.
• 8+ years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, coding standards, change control, and version management; ability to assess Salesforce architecture and provide secure, high‑performance technical solutions on the  platform.
• 8+ years of experience in all end‑to‑end technical aspects of a Salesforce program: classic to Lightning upgrades, data migrations, system integrations, third‑party applications, and custom development.
• 8+ years of experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth) and integrating third‑party applications; experience with core web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery) and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML).
• 8+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with cloud‑based and on‑premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs; proficiency in Visualforce, LWC, Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Dev Ops technology, including CI/CD pipelines and build and deployment tools such as Flosum and Git.
• 2+ years of experience creating custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
