Location:

Austin, TX, USA - Our Internship Program is based in Austin, TX , and follows a hybrid schedule (three days on-site, two days remote). Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this program.

Software Engineer Intern

Austin, TX

We're looking for a Software Engineer Intern! In this role you'll dive into real projects on one of the world's largest platforms, where your work will directly improve the user experience for millions. You'll be working with friendly and passionate developers, learning the ins and outs of designing scalable, high-performance software. It's a rewarding experience where your contributions will make a real impact.

This position offers a flexible hybrid work model, but you'll need to be within a commutable distance of our Austin office.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in developing and implementing new features using Python, Type Script, React, NestJS, and Graph

QL.

+ Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing features and systems.

+ Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

+ Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

+ Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

+ Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.

+ Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

+ Continuously learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

+ Basic understanding of Python, Type Script, React, NestJS, and Graph

QL.

+ Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
