Lead Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer for a hybrid contract in Austin, TX.

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

Additional job details and special considerations

These roles will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required.

Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed.

• 8 years Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
• 8 years Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
• 8 years Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
• 8 years Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
• 8 years Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
• 8 years Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development

• Experience with Angular UI Framework
• Experience with Crystal Reports
• Experience with Power BI
