Software Engineer II, Frontend

We're looking for a frontend-focused Software Engineer II to join Procore's Product & Technology Team working on the Hubs Platform. In this Engineering role you will shape the experience of millions of users worldwide as you build the platforms and products that enable customized experiences to users of Procore. You'll play a critical role in building user interfaces and optimizing the runtime that powers Hub experiences and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create new user experiences.

The UIs powered by the Hubs Platform are used by every Procore customer and represents Procore's next phase in UI customization; it is an extremely high-visibility and high-impact role.

This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager for the Hubs Platform and is a hybrid role based in Austin. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

• Develop and maintain the UI-focused runtime platform for Hubs using Procore's technology stack (primarily React, NodeJS, Typescript, Ruby).

• Design scalable UIs using microfront end concepts to build world-class user experiences.

• Build the front-end platform enabling customization at scale and collaborate with frontend and product teams to enable our platform to be used by engineering teams across Procore effortlessly.

• Write clean, efficient, well-tested and well-documented code following industry standard and Procore best practices.

• Contribute to team technical standards and operational processes.

• Provide 24/7 support for production UIs and services to achieve 99.99% uptime.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience

• 2+ years of frontend development experience using React and Typescript is required

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering and test driven development using Ruby on Rails and NodeJS is preferred

• 1+ years of experience monitoring, tuning alerts and responding to production alerts

• A curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problems

• Recommends technical investments to improve stability, performance and scalability of production services

Base Pay Range:

-  USD Annual
