QA Lead, Software Development, Software Engineer

Job Description:
Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site, dedicated candidate with skills and expertise as described in the requirements below.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will serve as the technical lead in advanced software development within an agile team, reporting to Application Services management. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience with automation tools and a proven track record in designing, developing, implementing, and testing front-end and back-end web user interfaces in a large organization. The primary goal is to deliver well-designed, documented, and tested modern software applications that meet customer requirements.

The candidate will work on property tax-related systems.

Skill Required/Desired:

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, including documenting test strategies, creating detailed test plans, cases, scripts, verification/validation documents, and quality test data to ensure software meets requirements prior to release.
• 8+ years of experience in writing and executing automation scripts.
• 8+ years of experience with software development methodologies, Agile and Scrum.
• 8+ years of experience analyzing bug reports and providing solutions.
• 8+ years of experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL database queries.
• 8+ years of experience utilizing test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG.
• 8+ years of experience developing, enhancing, updating, and maintaining automated test scripts for regression testing.
• 8+ years of experience identifying test coverage gaps and improvements.
• 5+ years of experience with automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Katalon, UFT, and API testing with Postman.
• 5+ years of experience with Build/Platform tools and CI environments like Jenkins.
• 5+ years of experience with Test Driven Development.
• 5+ years of programming experience in C#, Python, SQL, .NET, VBScript.
• 5+ years of experience with complex application security requirements.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 5+ years with T-SQL and stored procedures.
• 5+ years with microservice architectures such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, App Dynamics, and application monitoring tools.
• 2+ years of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint.
