Company Overview
EV adoption continues to grow - but our power grid was not built to withstand this level of electricity demand, and charging remains a major challenge for drivers. With over 80% of EV charging occurring at home, Charge Scape was formed by some of the world's largest automakers (BMW, Ford, Honda, and Nissan) with the mission to enable everyone to access sustainable, affordable energy from a reliable power grid.
Charge Scape's software platform serves as the connective tissue between EV drivers and power utilities, using cloud-based commands to schedule EV charging for the most grid-friendly, low-carbon hours, all while putting money back in drivers' wallets. Backed by a well-capitalized joint venture, we are expanding our engineering team to continue scaling our vehicle-grid integration platform and supporting new technical initiatives.
Position OverviewCharge Scape is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive development across our software architecture and infrastructure. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused on full-stack development, technical execution, and continuous improvement, with hands‑on responsibilities across the full stack. You'll work closely with our engineering leadership and distributed teams to contribute to strategic engineering efforts on our utility and OEM platforms while supporting emerging technical initiatives.
