Job Title: .NET Technical Architect Location: Austin, TX
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced .NET Technical Architect to lead the modernization projects, migrating from a legacy .NET Framework architecture to a modern, cloud‑native solution. You will play a hands‑on architectural role — defining technical strategy, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring delivery of a scalable, maintainable platform built on the latest Microsoft stack.

Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end architectural design and modernization of legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET 8+
- Define and drive migration strategy, patterns, and best practices across the Advisor platform
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design and govern cloud-native solutions on Azure, including messaging, data, and integration patterns
- Establish coding standards, review practices, and architectural guardrails for the engineering team
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, providing actionable guidance to development teams
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the modernization lifecycle
- Champion Dev Ops practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
- Provide architectural guidance on integrating AI/ML capabilities into the Advisor platform
- 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3–5 years in a technical architect or lead architect role
- Expert‑level proficiency in C# and .NET 8+, with deep understanding of modern framework capabilities
- Proven experience leading .NET Framework to .NET 8+ migration projects at enterprise scale
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Cosmos DB — data modeling, partitioning strategies, and performance optimization
- Solid working knowledge of Azure Service Bus and event-driven/messaging architecture patterns
- Experience designing microservices, API-first, and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency with Azure services including App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, and Azure Dev Ops
- Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing patterns
- Experience with RESTful API design
, versioning, and security best practices - Good understanding of React and micro-frontend architectures
, with the ability to design and govern API contracts and backend services that support modern frontend experiences - Hands‑on experience integrating Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, or similar LLM-based platforms into enterprise applications
- Experience designing AI-powered APIs and agent frameworks that can be consumed by both backend services and frontend applications
- Familiarity with component-driven UI patterns and how backend architecture decisions impact frontend scalability and performance
- Experience in the wealth management domain
