We’re partnering with a well‑established organization based in Austin, TX to find a talented .NET Developer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting‑edge, home‑grown Learning Management System (LMS) with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and modern cloud‑based development.
Location:
Remote (Preference for candidates based in Austin or surrounding areas such as San Marcos, New Braunfels, or San Antonio for occasional onsite collaboration)
Type: 6‑month contract‑to‑hire
What You’ll Be Working On- Designing and building scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET 8+ and C#
- Contributing across the full software development lifecycle
- Developing and optimizing SQL Server databases and T‑SQL queries
- Working within a collaborative Agile/Scrum team
- Deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation (Jenkins and beyond)
- Mentoring junior developers and participating in code reviews
- 5+ years of experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (specifically .NET 8+)
- Strong experience with Entity Framework
, REST APIs, and backend architecture - Solid background in SQL Server (schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio 2022
, and Agile methodologies - Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience with CI/CD tools beyond Jenkins
- Exposure to Docker or infrastructure‑as‑code tools
