We are looking for engineers who are passionate about solving complex technical challenges, building reliable low-latency systems, and driving innovation in modern communication technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop platforms that are foundational to future customer engagement experiences.
As a Voice Platform Software Engineer, you will help design, develop, and operate scalable voice infrastructure and real-time communication services used in high-volume customer interaction environments. You will work on technologies related to SIP signaling, media handling, WebRTC, distributed systems, and cloud-native platform development. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and a passion for building resilient systems that operate will collaborate closely with platform engineers, client application teams, infrastructure teams, and architects to deliver reliable and high-performing communication solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable voice and real-time communication platform components
- Build and maintain software services for SIP signaling, media control, routing, and session management
- Develop reliable and efficient backend services using C or C++
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality, signaling, media flows, and distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutions
- Improve platform scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and production support activities
- Contribute to automation, monitoring, and deployment tooling for voice platform services
- 3+ years of software development experience using C or C++
- Experience developing backend or distributed systems software
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with WebRTC, or VoIP technologies
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, or similar distributed infrastructure technologies
- Experience with real-time communication platforms such as Free SWITCH, Kamailio, Asterisk, or similar technologies
- Experience with SIP, RTP
