Quality Technology Service is a key part of that solution, enabling the flow of inventory into and out of warehouses for a shipment.

As a Sr. Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible to develop our next generation of systems, work that includes scaling our systems to handle hundreds of thousands of concurrent transactions.

The candidate in this role will have an opportunity to own design and development of distributed systems on AWS platform. You will influence system design and implementation to ensure the best user experience for maximum adoption. You will contribute to a wide range of projects in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will become part of a world-class engineering team solving challenging problems at scale.

• Owning end to end design, implementation and development
• Owning post go-live operational support
• Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with customers and stakeholders
• Collaborating on sharing best practices with leaders within the organization about building scalable solutions
• Learning and application of the latest Gen AI technologies

Creating a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace experience. Designing and iterating on learning, development, and engagement solutions to support needs of operators and employees.

Synthesizing and articulating AR’s long-term strategy, near-term goals, product roadmaps, and workforce strategy. Developing and managing cross organizational mechanisms, reporting, programs, and Sustainability efforts.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
