Overview
AWS Partner Systems is seeking a results-oriented Software Development Engineer to build next-generation distributed, scalable systems that support AWS' current and future business needs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, designing services that process millions of transactions in a secured environment, leveraging your expertise in complex, multi-tiered architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Own significant portions of the product and influence strategy by defining new features and system architecture.
- Design, develop, and maintain services that process high-volume data securely and efficiently.
- Collaborate across front‑end, platform services, and system‑level teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ year as a software development engineer or related role.
- 1+ year designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of Object‑Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually (USA, TX, Austin). The compensation package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
