• Lead and deliver major technical initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, and velocity.
• Write and ship production code across a modern 100% Type Script stack (React + Node).
• Design and enhance APIs, integrations, and AI‑driven solutions for brokers and underwriters.
• Work with Product, Design, and Data to transform ambiguity into clear, maintainable solutions.
• Champion engineering standards: testing, observability, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers, while influencing technical culture and architecture.

• 5+ years in a modern web stack with a proven record of technical leadership.
• Experience leading complex projects and contributing significantly to codebases.
• Strong adaptability with a bias toward incremental, high-value delivery.
• Bonus: exposure to late‑stage startups (Series D+), big tech, or fintech/insurtech.

• Remote‑first role across the US, or based in Austin, TX.
• Competitive salary: $200k–$235k base.
