Software Development Engineer, AWS Partnerships

Job Description

AWS Partner Systems is looking for a results-oriented, self-driven Development Engineer to help build the next generation of distributed, scalable systems that support AWS's current and future business needs. The role involves designing and developing services that process millions of transactions in a secure environment, leveraging experience in building high-performance, reliable systems within a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service-Oriented Architecture). You will own significant product areas, influence system architecture and deliver new features or products that meet customer needs.

• Own significant product areas and shape system architecture and feature development.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑throughput services that handle large volumes of data.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver customer‑centric solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, establish coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement practices.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
