Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Engineer
Are you a full‑stack engineer who wants to own problems end‑to‑end—from understanding user needs to shipping and iterating on solutions? Do you thrive in ambiguity and care deeply about real user impact? Are you looking for a role where you can shape a platform from day one? If so, read on.
About UsOxalis is built for high‑stakes, high‑security, or highly complex environments. We’re a consulting and technology partner for the organizations that keep the world running: life sciences, shipyards, government agencies, health systems, aerospace programs, and manufacturers with missions too critical to fail. We serve the people behind the mission—those building, healing, defending, and delivering where it matters most. As a Platinum Solution Partner for Atlassian and a trusted systems integrator for IFS, we specialize in secure cloud transformation, IT service management, ERP modernization, and operational strategy.
We focus especially on organizations navigating compliance‑heavy environments and complex change.
We’re seeking a Mid‑Senior Product Engineer to join the core team of YardOS, a greenfield product built for operational excellence in complex, compliance‑driven environments. This is a ground‑floor opportunity to shape a modern, AI‑enhanced platform from its earliest stages. This is an engineering‑first role. You’ll own the complete cycle, understanding customer problems, designing solutions, building features, and measuring impact. This is not a role where you execute handed‑down specs—you’ll drive what gets built and why.
YouWill
- Guide architectural decisions
- Strengthen reliability in high‑stakes domains
- Contribute to a thoughtful, healthy engineering culture
- Understand user workflows, identify pain points, and determine what to build (not just how to build it)
- Work directly with stakeholders and end‑users to validate assumptions, gather requirements, and prioritize ruthlessly
- Ship complete solutions end‑to‑end and own the full feature lifecycle
- Build across the full stack (Vue.js frontend, Node.js backend, Postgre
SQL database) - Design pragmatic solutions, balancing technical quality with speed to market
- Use AI development tools to accelerate iteration and focus on high‑impact work
- Integrate AI capabilities into the product to improve user workflows
- Define success metrics, instrument features, analyze usage data, and continuously improve
- Shape product direction, advocate for users, and push back when priorities don’t align with user value
- Extensive professional software engineering experience (or equivalent depth)
- Strong full‑stack skills with Type Script (Vue, React, or Svelte + Node.js)
- Solid database experience (Postgre
SQL or similar: schema design, queries, optimization) - Experience building and shipping REST APIs
- Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with offline‑first patterns, event‑driven architectures, or distributed systems
- Experience owning features from conception through post‑launch iteration
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience translating business needs into technical solutions
- Familiarity with AI tools to improve development velocity and impact
- Track record of shipping features that users actually adopt
- Experience working closely with product managers, designers, or end‑users
- Experience in fast‑moving or early‑stage environments where you wore multiple hats
- Experience in regulated or compliance‑heavy industries (healthcare, finance, logistics)
- Experience with usability testing or product discovery
- Familiarity with Power Sync, Electric
SQL, or similar offline sync technologies - Knowledge of Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or AI agent frameworks
- Experience with CQRS, event sourcing, or domain‑driven design
- Exposure to Keycloak, enterprise authentication systems, or multi‑tenancy patterns
- Understanding of job queues (Graphile Worker, BullMQ) or vector databases (pgvector)
