Role: AEM Forms Developer
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Location: Austin is preferred, but we will consider fully remote as well
OpportunityClient Reporting Technology (CRT) organization has an opportunity for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager Developer to help speed our modernization efforts for regulatory forms for our clients. This developer will be focused on building Adaptive Web Form content within the AEM forms tool as well as work with the existing team to enhance pipeline when needed. This developer should also be familiar with AI technologies such as Git Hub Copilot to help speed delivery as much as possible.
Required Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience working within the on-prem version of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) toolset. Preferred to have experience with AEM forms and building of Adaptive Web Forms using Core components in a headless setup.
- Experience using Rule editors, Theme editor, FDM, writing custom JS functions.
- Handle end-to-end form lifecycle (UI > submission > backend > DOR).
- Experience in utilizing core AEM concepts to build and define APIs for form submissions.
- Preferable experience with automated testing of adaptive forms.
- Professional level front-end skillsets such as HTML, JSP, NPM webpack build.
- Knowledge of code upgrade and code promotion including core component upgrades and deployments through package manager.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to SAML, OSGi bundles.
- Experience in using AEM Dispatcher in a form's environment.
- Demonstrated exposure to, or hands‑on experience with, GenAI coding assistants used across day-to-day engineering workflows in the SDLC—implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and documentation—while applying engineering judgment and validation. Practical familiarity with tools such as Git Hub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.
- Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec‑driven development (translating low‑level design artifacts such as class structures, API contracts, and data models into structured specs that guide AI‑assisted implementation), and custom instructions and prompt engineering, with the ability to establish team‑level practices for effective AI‑assisted development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Git Hub, etc.
- Experience with headless content delivery.
- Experience coding in Angular, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Backbone, React
JS (sophisticated capabilities required for front-end focused roles). - Experience working with web servers Jboss, Weblogic, IIS, Apache.
- Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems.
