Staff Software Engineer – RDC NextWe are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the RDC Next team. Your role will help build and deliver innovative solutions across the real‑estate ecosystem, deepening relationships with industry players, consumers, and brokers/agents.
What You’ll Do- Use technology to create innovation that delights consumers and agents, disrupting the industry.
- Define work and drive technical decisions for complex features in the consumer and agent‑facing experiences.
- Collaborate across functional teams to solve business problems, and lead each step of the product development process from ideation to release; rapidly prototyping, experimenting and delivering solutions that scale to support millions of users.
- Connect business and consumer problems to proposed technical solutions. Work with product and other stakeholders to rapidly deliver high‑impact value and measure using data.
- Define and evolve the architecture, design and implementation of consumer and agent‑facing experiences using clean architecture principles.
- Make effective and timely technology choices for implementing solutions, often without complete information.
- Drive a stable and scalable architecture using modern patterns to deliver a first‑class mobile product. Drive adoption of design patterns, coding and quality standards, and software development processes.
- Help improve code generation and quality by utilizing agentic AI and best practices.
- Independently manage your tasks and proactively create and organize technical documentation to enhance team efficiency and support other engineers.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture, design and development, with specialty in developing native mobile applications, reactive programming and dependency injection.
- Experience building with Server‑Driven UI, Model‑View‑View Model and other unidirectional state‑management paradigms.
- Experience with Swift, Objective‑C and the iOS SDK.
- Experience with Graph
QL and XCTest UI is a plus. - Experience building mobile products in a fast‑paced environment with high code quality.
- Experience with agentic AI code generation is a plus.
- Experience with full‑stack development is a plus.
- A data‑driven approach with strong results and outcome‑oriented focus, understanding the value derived from rapidly shipping code and learning/iterating on the results.
- Strong empathy for consumers and agents, and a passion for exceeding their expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, connecting directly and effectively with cross‑functional technical and non‑technical stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to decompose complex business problems and communicate solutions succinctly.
- A passion for learning, continuous improvement, sharing, and working in a team environment.
- Independent and can manage your own projects and time with ease, while setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
