Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

This contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer and will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative. Responsibilities include making updates to the SCOR Java platform – changing business logic, updating the user interface, extending reporting capabilities, and enhancing the system data model. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode across multiple environments. Performs coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.

Maintains code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

• 8+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java
• 8+ years of experience in applications development on the J2EE platform
• 8+ years of experience writing SQL for relational databases
• 8+ years of experience developing RESTful web services on the Spring platform
• 8+ years of experience with Spring Aspect Oriented Programming (transaction management and security)
• 8+ years of experience with JUnit and Unit Test development (Preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with Angular UI Framework (Preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with Crystal Reports (Preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with Power
