- Confidently navigate multifaceted environments, building strong relationships and smoothly resolving conflicts.
- Work seamlessly with engineers, product owners, and strategic partners, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
- Efficiently manage resources, monitor timelines, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain a relentless focus on execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery while paying meticulous attention to detail.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in engineering project management.
- Experience in software development life cycle methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to drive multi‑year, multi‑team programs that require both customer and technical focus.
- Experience leading customer‑facing software initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer impact, and engineering constraints.
- Experience with enterprise‑scale software development life cycles, including launch strategies, compliance, and operational scaling.
- Experience successfully completing and delivering projects using an Agile methodology.
- Experience managing cross‑org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, and business teams.
- Proficiency in setting up governance models, decision‑making frameworks, and program health metrics.
- Ability to drive consistency in execution across different teams, priorities, and timelines.
- Proven track record of influencing at all levels, from engineers to C‑suite executives, through clear and compelling written and verbal communication.
- Experience handling multi‑functional trade‑offs, ensuring collaboration rather than friction across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across competing work streams and lead teams to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience managing program budgets and forecasting resource needs across multi‑team initiatives.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and architectural trade‑offs, including highly available, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems, even if not hands‑on coding.
- Familiarity with scalable architectures, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software development best practices.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with frequent change and evolving priorities.
- PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred.
