Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect / AWS Cloud Developer to support a Federal client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying cloud‑native applications on AWS using modern serverless, microservices, and event‑driven architectures. This role requires deep experience with AWS services, Dev Ops automation, cloud migration, security implementation, API integrations, and enterprise‑scale application development.
Candidates must hold a valid AWS certification and demonstrate a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, highly available, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native applications leveraging AWS services
- Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Formation, and AWS CDK
- Design scalable, fault‑tolerant, and cost‑effective cloud solutions
- Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications
- Build and integrate APIs with internal and third‑party systems
- Develop reusable, scalable, and high‑quality application code
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and enterprise Dev Ops tools
- Configure and support Development, Testing, and Production environments
- Implement security controls and authentication frameworks aligned with organizational standards
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, deployment, and release activities
- Support Agile/Scrum delivery processes and participate in sprint ceremonies
- Collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, and business teams
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to team members
- Participate in production support and on‑call activities as required
- Present technical solutions and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Strong experience designing and developing applications in AWS cloud environments
