Senior Computer Vision Engineer - Darbytek

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize computer vision pipelines for real‑time drone detection, tracking, and classification on an autonomous turret platform.
• Develop and train deep learning models using Tensor Flow or PyTorch, and integrate them with C++/Python inference code.
• Leverage GPU acceleration (CUDA) and ROS middleware to meet strict latency and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and systems engineers to validate algorithms on prototype hardware and iterate based on field testing.
• Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control, and mentor junior engineers on best practices in computer vision and machine learning.

• 5+ years of professional experience in computer vision and machine learning, preferably in real‑time or embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with hands‑on experience using OpenCV, Tensor Flow/PyTorch, and CUDA for GPU‑accelerated inference.
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar middleware for sensor integration and data streaming.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end vision solutions, from data collection and model training to deployment on constrained hardware.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and a passion for cutting‑edge autonomous technologies.
